Jealousy exists and is valid because we create it, but the energy doesn't feel good. It doesn't nurture or inspire, rather binds you to feeling constant lack. It occurred to me that jealousy could really be an opportunity, a reminder, that other options exist. I read an article about someone who just decided to overhaul and simplify her life, moving to a place she loved. I was jealous, I thought easy for her, etc. But I caught myself. I thought why am I jealous, why am I running this program? After all I could easily do the same thing with my family. I choose not to because of other games I'm playing with myself, like being scared of change or the unknown. These are all just story problems.
There are many games around lack and limitation. We tell ourselves there is lack, and so it is. This game has worn itself out and I'm not longer interested in playing. Instead, when I feel that twinge, I'm tuning into the actual feeling I think these people have created in their lives: freedom, enjoyment, peace and balance. That is the gift they are presenting me with, other options. Those gifts are available to each of us, if only we recognize and allow them into our lives. How we do it does not matter, only that we allow them into our awareness and to grow, manifest and create for us all to enjoy.
